Over the past year, I can't help but notice how electronic, dubstep, techno (whatever you want to call it) is taking over everything. And by everything, I mean: advertisements, movies, radio, television and the music scene.
There are numerous commercials, especially car commercials, that have dubstep music blaring in the background. Movie intros and soundtracks are filled with it. Every day I turn on the radio, there is an electronic song playing on at least one of the many stations I browse through.
Even on MTV, a lot of the shows are based around electronic music. For example, The Jersey Shore, which lead to the DJ Pauly D Project....
I guess since electronic music is taking over almost every mass communication, people are liking it more and more.
However, it is quite mind bottling. That's when all your thoughts get trapped in a bottle.
